Xiddig Cellular Communications, is a telecommunications infrastructure company with all the relevant Telco licenses. XiddiG, one of the few licensed operators approved, for the implementation of a High-Capacity, High-Speed Internet Fiber-Optics Submarine Cable into Malaysia, apart from our national provider, Telekom Malaysia
Currently we offer Metro-Ethernet and Direct Internet Access services that support Data, and Voice connectivity via Malaysia’s current Internet Backbone whose capacity is only 10 Gigabits. XiddiG, is able to provide incremental bandwidth expansion as per the client’s business requirements but to a limited-speed at this point in-time.
There is no longer a question about the key importance of affordable broadband communication for the development of a country, it's public welfare and it's economic growth. This has been the key driver for impressive growth rates witnessed in developed countries and no less impressive expected growth rates, not only in emerging market, but also in what appears to be mature markets.
Adding to this the multiplication of data services, the emergence of big data, and the overall willingness to access all services and data in a non-discriminatory fashion, broadband market is still anticipating healthy growth around the world, and in particular in Malaysia.
The implementation of a new infrastructure, the Enhanced Malaysia International Internet Gateway (EMIIG) 5-G ready by XiddiG, is a Critical Component to Asia’s Global commerce.
Universal provision of High-Speed Bandwidth is critical to the future economic and social prosperity of Asean as a whole.
Meanwhile XiddiG has embarked in the implementation of the world’s first 150 Terabits per second Internet Fiber-Optics Submarine Cable allowing a capacity of up-to 300,000 Gigabits per second with affordable entry price for corporate clients and homes accessing Gigabit speeds via Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP). The project also includes 3 Tier-4 Data Centres to be erected in the states of Johor, Penang and Sarawak respectively. At the same time XiddiG is putting-up a new 288 core fibre-optics infrastructure with the latest duplex radio technology 5G ready through-out Malaysia.
Currently several countries in Asia have decided to subscribe to XiddiG's EM-IIG initiatives, namely: Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. In recent weeks Indonesia has shown its interest into subscribing as well for the price benefits and the bandwidth capacity made available.
